About the Digital Business Unit at IndusInd:Digital Business is a newly set up Unit at IndusInd Bank which is aiming to revolutionize banking. It aims to: · Build customer centric products with human centered design principles for retail Individual and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) customer segments · Build innovative products and propositions backed with problem solving mindset to discover and solve latent needs of customers · Build Embedded Finance (Banking as a Service) applications · Ensure designs are highly available, highly modular, highly scalable and highly secure · Drive digital businessSome of the applications managed by the Digital Business Unit include INDIE/ IndusMobile (bank’s mobile app for retail individual clients), Indusnet (netbanking application of the bank), IndusMerchantSolutions app, Whatsapp Banking, Chatbots, Easycredit for Individuals, Easycredit for Business Owners, savings, current account and fixed deposit online platforms. There are many more innovative digital products and solutions in pipelineThe unit’s objectives are three fold – (a) Drive better customer experience and engagement (b) Transform existing lines of businesses and (c) Build new digital only or banking as a service led digital business modelsAbout the Role: The incumbent will be a part of Strategy Team for the Bank and will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Senior leadership team of the Bank in defining short term and long term business strategy and will define as well as lead key strategic initiatives till they attain certain scale.Job Responsibilities: · Work with the leadership team on design and deployment of both short-term and long-term strategic business objectives · Define solutions & strategy for given business problems based on internal and external data and market benchmarking (business problems could be in the nature of: new market entry / new product or segment launch / ramp up of existing business / productivity improvement) · Define strategic blueprint and key initiatives to be undertaken by bringing key insights and trade-offs to the table · End to end Program Management of key strategic initiatives identified · Partner with different functions within the organization - sales, operations, human resources among others in deployment of the business initiatives identified · Support in long term strategic planning, annual business planning and reviews for the business · Support in representation of organization performance to shareholders and investors by the management teamKey Skill Set Requirements: · Essential requirement: 3-6 years of total experience of which 2-4 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting or Planning roles in Tier 1 consulting firms is must. · Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, detail orientation & interpersonal skills · Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Power point) · Exposure to strategic customer communication will be an added advantage. · Ability to Work/engage with Senior Business leaders
