Role & Responsibility:Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Quantity Surveyor of projectsBenchmarking:Maintain an organized system for scheduling and benchmarking to the framework within the design, cost allocations, and Budget Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Developing documents that track costs: Developing documents about finance, budgets, cash flow, and contracts Supervising the Estimating process of Project Quantities for bidding processes Assessing and managing project risks, including cost and time risks Improve the quality of budget monitoring by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes and comparing budget versus actual project cost/ completed projectAnalytical: Review and analyze project budgets and BOQs prepared by the Project Management team to identify gaps/ opportunities to reduce costs or increase operational efficiency Provide analytical inputs to monitor project budget - prepare preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams and senior managementResearch and Reporting:Prepare qualitative and quantitative management updates on project progress and cost deviations from time to time Assist with project presentations for reporting to banks, credit rating agencies, etc.Desired Skills and Experience:At least 5 years experience in construction/ project management- both office and site experience Experience and understanding of design, detailing, and cost analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with AutoCAD Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Proven working experience in Quantity Surveying A strong understanding of construction, material, and contract law is essential
