The person will be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Key responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods, manage end to end transportation, ensure forecast of demand are accurate and agreed with Sales, ensure supply to meet the demand whilst minimizing inventory levels, built and drive robust S&OP process.Roles & Responsibilities: • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, customer services. • Highly focussed to maintain/improve service level and work for customer satisfaction • Vendor development & management • Drive robust Sales and Operational Planning(S&OP) process • Business Partnering with Sales and Supply team to ensure clear communication • Liaise and negotiate with CFA’s & Transporter • Ontime payment clearance of all the channel partners (Transporters, distributors, CFA’s etc) • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency • Manage Inventory level to avoid sale loss and drive Net working Capital. • Complete ownership of inventory across the stocking pointsDesired Skills and Competencies: • Record of successful logistics & distribution management • Demonstrable ability of working with different stakeholders • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP and proficient in MS excel. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects • Demonstrated analytical skills and manages operational challenges • Understanding of S&OP process and its importance to SCM • Good negotiation skillsQualification • MBA (Operations) from Tier-1/Tier-2 institute with proven experience in supply chain management. • A minimum 2-4 years of logistic experience, preferably in FMCG.
