Job Title: Network Operation Center SpecialistLocation: IndiaDescriptionWe are looking for a NOC Specialist for our Network Operations Center team. The candidate must possess around 4+ years’ hands-on experience in monitoring of enterprise systems, with knowledge of cloud environments, basic network protocols. Previous experience with fintech or e-commerce companies is a welcomed plus.The Network Operations Center Specialist is responsible for the 7x24x365 monitoring and remedial activities in support of our Production Cloud Services. The NOC Specialist will provide continuous monitoring and support and perform routine activities for all systems and services. Knowledge of services, techniques and procedures are required and good communication skills, for consulting with users and next tier resources to determine and remediate hardware, software or system functionality, issues are also required.With the goal to maintain agreed high system availability numbers and a low Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR), the position requires effective communication and notification cross-functionally to address impacting, and potential impacting, events.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Ongoing monitoringTicket creationUpdates of the status pageManagementEscalation to DevOps teamParticipation on Incident callsAdherence to established SLA’s and a working knowledge of all monitoring and support tools. It is required to maintain a culture of continuous improvement, by providing suggestions for process enhancements, providing updates to documentation, providing transfer of knowledge to peers in your area of expertise, and assisting in the training of new hires.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of related experienceCloud Application Performance Monitoring and Analysis (Preferred Azure)Technical Degree and/or equivalent experience and training preferredIntermediate skills/working knowledge of Open Source environmentsMust be willing to work any shift in a 24/7/365 work environment on a rotational basis, some holiday and weekend work requiredGood verbal and written English communication skills and attention to detailsSkills RequiredKnowledge and use of common industry monitoring and support toolsIncident Management and work on resolution as SRECloud Application Monitoring tools- MS AzureAnalytical skill to triage incidentsThe skills needed to prioritize issuesAbility to work well with others and communicate professionallyCoordination, organization, and teaming skillsSelf-motivated and quality-driven, balanced with technical support capabilitiesAbility to defuse anger, resolve conflict and operate with a strong sense of responsibilityAbility to multi-task and respond to priority issues effectivelyAbility to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervisionTechnologies & toolsKnowledge of Azure Cloud environment.Knowledge of monitoring systems like NetXMS, Nagios, Zabbix or similar.Basic understanding of network protocolsWhy should you join noon payments?
