The company currently is looking to grow significantly in revenues over the next few years. Responsibilities:Taking ownership and control of the AP and AR functions for the company Lead and supervise contract set up and closeout processes. Full Charge of all general ledger transactions. Prepare monthly financial statements Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for the company Lead the audit process and income tax return processes. Other Accounting projects as assigned. Manage a team of accounting personnelRequirements:Ten to twenty years of very strong accounting experience. Experience in working in a multiple entity accounting environment. Strong knowledge of Excel and Word. A pro-active person who takes ownership and pride in his/her work. Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong leadership skillsAbility to handle large volumes of accounting transactions efficientlyWork US East Coast hoursIdeal candidate:Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Attention to details. Very organized Strong communication skills Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
