We are passionate about the intersection of sports and technology, and are looking for an exceptional AI/ML Engineer to join our team at this early stage and help bring our vision to life. Responsibilities:You will play a crucial role in iterating on early versions of our product, working closely with the founding team to build, train, and integrate world class AI models into our applications.Collaborate with the founding team to understand customer needs and translate them into an AI roadmap, prioritizing features and models that enhance the user experience.Build, train, and deploy cutting-edge deep learning models into production focusing on computer vision and NLPDesign and develop data ingestion, preprocessing, and storage pipelines to efficiently manage large volumes multimedia data.Set up and maintain data infrastructure and databases, creating scalable storage and retrieval solutions for structured and unstructured data.Develop and maintain APIs to serve model results, ensuring efficient interaction between the backend and frontend.Conduct rapid iteration and experimentation to improve model performance, iterating based on feedback and performance metrics.Act as a subject matter expert in AI/ML, keeping the team updated on the latest advancements in computer vision, NLP, and multi-modal AI.Proactively identify opportunities to improve the user experience and enhance product performance.Qualifications & Ideal Background:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant quantitative discipline.Startup experience is a plus; sports tech experience is a big plus.3–5 years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer, with hands-on experience in computer vision and NLP for professional applications.Strong understanding of ML model architectures (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer) and when to apply each to specific business problems.Proficiency in data engineering: experience setting up databases, managing data pipelines, and working with cloud data storage solutionsExperience building ETL pipelines for large-scale video or multimedia data.Familiarity with multi-modal models, large language models (LLMs), and RAG architectures.Strong Python programming skills with expertise in ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL for database management.Proficiency with video processing tools and libraries (FFmpeg, OpenCV, MoviePy).Experience deploying models on cloud platforms like Google Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker, or AzureML.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Passion for sports and enthusiasm for working as an early employee in a fast-paced startup.What We Offer:A unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI products in the sports domain.The chance to join an early-stage startup and play an integral role in its growth.Rapid career growth and potential leadership opportunities as an early team member.Competitive salary and equity.Opportunities for domestic and international travel.
