Who we are looking for:We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Finance Manager to join our growing startup as our first in-house finance hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end finances of both the US and India operations for RapidCanvas and work with a number of extended team members like CAs, consultants, etc. Will own the overall financial health and success of the company. Roles and Responsibilities:Will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, providing strategic insights, and supporting decision-making across our global operations. This role requires a combination of financial planning, analysis, and management skills. Key responsibilities will include:Strong bookkeeping skillsFinancial reporting - reviewing and managing monthly documents Compliance Management - with international financial regulations and reporting requirementsSupport fundraising efforts and investor relations activitiesBanking - monthly remittance follow-ups, etcAccount reconciliations for bank accounts and credit card statementsAccounts receivable and accounts payable managementFinancial statement and custom reportingFinancial & operational reportingCash flow analysis and planFinancial & management analysisBudget development & monitoringTax strategiesBoard & investor presentation & reportingCost & cash flow managementVendor bill paymentSales invoicingContract processCompliance review/enforcement (e.g. PCI, SOC2, etc.)Key Skills Required:5+ years of combined experience managing finances both in India and USKnowledge of US financial systems, reporting, etc Self-starter who is always looking to improve outcomesMBA in Finance or professional certification such as CA/CPA is preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS will be a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial management or analysis, preferably in a startup or global environmentStrong understanding of international financial practices and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelingStrong communication skills in English; ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholdersAbility to work independently and high accountability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThis role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a growing global startup.
