Min. 6 years of experience in New product development, should be able to independently handle a team , from Concept to manufacturing levels.Job DescriptionLead a team to design, development and documentation at part /sub-system/system levelsExpertise in product design suitable for various manufacturing processes like Plastics Injection Moulding , Sheet metal & casting Design of Special purpose Machines, jigs and fixturesExperience in CAD Modelling (SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo.)Should have gone through full product life cycle from concept to post market handling.Collaborate with electronics, layout, analysis and firmware engineers to successfully develop and validate the product designs.Lead discussions with suppliers / Manufacturing team on hardware / prototype developmentConduct technical reviews with technical experts/stakeholdersCollaborate with project manager for integration with overall project milestones, responsible to bring up issues and potential resolutions.A proven track- record of effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to create results within budget, timeline, and product/project deliverablesAbility to Analyse and predict design performance using Simulation tools, Analytical SkillsRequired Skills:Knowledge and experience using CAD systems for mechanical design and analysisExperience in Modelling, simulation, and analysis experience with tools like ANSYS preferredExperience in electro mechanical system designs for rugged, IP,EMI,EMC requirementsExperience in quality management systemProficient with prototype and tooling development processesGood documentation Skills ,QMS Process , drawing practicesKnowledge of Design for excellence viz.
