Job Description

Overseeing the financial planning, analysis and business support functions for the ANZ markets which consists of all Tag entities in Australia including Popcorn and L&A. Responsible for business planning, budgeting and forecasting, enforcing an internal control environment and ensuring solid business governance. This role will help drive and support business decisions and will interact with finance and other functions across the ANZ markets and across the APAC region as a whole.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Controlling and Commercial SupportAct as a trusted business advisor with the ANZ MD and account managers to help drive the preparation and approval of sound business proposals including new business and re-tenders from existing clients.Review country & client financial performance and compare results to budget, forecast and prior year. Includes making recommendations for ongoing cost and margin improvements.Highlight and challenge financial and commercial risks within the proposed pricing structures and provide professional financial advice for informed business decisions for business development and operations.Commercial review and monitoring of all business opportunities requiring approval according to the company’s commercial review process.Ongoing Process ImprovementAdminister policies & procedures with an eye to enhance internal control environment.Manage and ensure best practice, business governance and accounting compliance are deployed to company standards and/or statutory requirements.Financial OperationsWork closely with ANZ business unit heads, account teams and the ANZ finance team to help prepare and consolidate business planning and budgeting including monthly forecasts, and annual business plans.Drive continuous improvement for improved working capital management and cash flow.Coordinate with APAC and Global finance to ensure effective management of corporate structure, tax and regulatory compliance.Liaise with Corporate Treasury to execute cash and liquidity management.Provide regular and ad-hoc management/financial reporting and analysis to senior management and the region.Manage ad-hoc and ongoing projects as requiredRequired skills and experienceQualified Accountant with a Degree in Accounting or equivalentAt least 8-10 years’ financial management experience preferably in multinational commercial environment with some audit experience an advantageAbility to manage growth and work effectively under tight timelinesProficient in Microsoft Office applications is desirableSound analytical skill and business acumen to support business decisions.Strong leadership and communication skills.Strong customer and business focused mindset.Able to adopt the company culture and understand the business drivers.
