We have 200+ senior professionals working in 135+ offices across 38 states in the US and presence in Canada.Our South Florida franchisee’s (SFF-MBFS) M&A deal team is industry agnostic and has 80+ years of cumulative experience in successfully advising in $5B+ in lower-middle market M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.This is a full-time, remote role for an Investment Banking Associate.SFF-MBFS Associates are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, motivation, and analytical aptitude. The OpportunityThe successful candidate will be driven and detail-oriented while having a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly. The firm is also keen on fostering a collegial environment in which team members enjoy being challenged to outperform.ResponsibilitiesPreparing historical and projected financial statements, quality of earnings analysis, provide analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and conducting valuation analysisInvolved in execution activities including (but not limited) to data gathering, analysis and material preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentationDevelop marketing and support materials including (but not limited) executive summaries, confidential information memorandums (CIM), and management presentationsFacilitate data requests from clientsSupport financial, commercial, operational and legal due diligence Interact with clients’ senior executives and institutional financial sponsorsSupports senior team members in marketing/origination activities Applicants wishing to apply should meet the following criteria: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalSolid interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with financial modeling, valuation, and analysisAbility to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work on multiple tasksPossess good attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamM&A, capital raising, investment banking, accounting or other relevant experience preferredMinimum of 3 years investment banking work experience with a top-tier investment requiredProficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and transaction executionStrong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordMasters degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, and or economicsCFA or working towards CFA designation is a plus
