Learn more about our story here:  Position OverviewWe are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled UI/UX designer who shares our passion for climate mitigation and ecological regeneration. This individual should be experienced in product design, with a love for rapid prototyping and iteration to create impactful products that contribute to the development of high-quality, nature-based carbon projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of UX and UI expertise, capable of working independently to transform ideas into prototypes, conducting user research, converting prototypes into high-fidelity designs, and collaborating with engineers to bring these designs to life.You will work closely with the entire company across engineering, origination, commercial and tech teams, and engage with early adopters to build out our platform and deliver high-quality services that streamline project design, provide transparency and accelerate financing.  Responsibilities1..UX Design: (roughly 25%)Taking concepts from ideation to launch: creating prototypes, conducting customer and user interviews, gathering feedback, and iterating on product designs.Conduct in-depth user research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Map out user journeys, maintain personas and create service maps to guide design processes.Assess the strategic value of building technology and UX in relation to the business needs2.UI Design: (roughly 50%)Design visually captivating user interfaces that align with our brand identity and mission.Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.Produce high-fidelity designs and assets for development, ensuring a smooth handoff and collaboration with the development team.3.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the design process.Present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders, gathering feedback and iterating as needed.Foster a collaborative design culture within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.4.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our design practices cutting-edge.Continuously test and refine designs based on user feedback and analytics to enhance user satisfaction.Proactively identify opportunities for design improvements and propose innovative solutions.5.Product Management: (roughly 25%) (Good to have)Collect inputs from internal stakeholders and early adopters, to define product roadmap aligning with overall company vision, business goals and market needs.Define product specifications, prioritize features based on impact, effort, user feedback, and market research, and collaborate with engineers and designers to bring those products to market.Analyze product performance through metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement and iterative development. Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Design, or a related fieldInterest in or knowledge of sustainability and carbon markets a plus3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design (B2B Products) , with a strong understanding of UX principles, methodologies, user research experience, along with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort wearing multiple hats, a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and ambiguous environmentProficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and designs ; familiarity with additional tools such as Adobe XD, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plusExperience with responsive design, ensuring optimal user experiences across various devices and platformsExceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and diverse teamStrong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlinesOpenness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvementKnowledge of HTML, CSS, TailWind and JavaScript is a plus.Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools.
