By coordinating with the Assistant General Manager and department managers, the General Manager shall be expected to steer the organization toward achieving its financial and non-financial goals through effective team management. This position requires a diverse set of managerial skills, including planning, decision-making, organizing, staffing, controlling, directing, and communicating to cultivate a highly competent workforce.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the overall functioning of hotel/hostel operations to ensure optimal performance Monitor and analyze operational, financial, and business performance metrics Conduct daily orientations, inspections, audits, and operational checks Plan and execute the overall budgeting process in alignment with company-approved monthly/quarterly budgets Lead regular meetings and training sessions to enhance team skills, productivity, and motivation Conduct financial audits and ensure timely reporting of financial statements Maintain the property infrastructure to the highest standards, including civil, furniture/furnishing, equipment/HVAC, plumbing, and electrical Ensure timely repair and maintenance by company-prescribed TATs and budgets Uphold 100% compliance with operating SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards Deliver exceptional services in all areas, including bed, food and beverage, and non-bed activities Regularly audit safety standards, focusing on hazard prevention, health, and cleanliness Serve as the final decision-maker in guest escalation matters, ensuring customer satisfaction Liaise with the company’s head office and various local departments such as municipality, pollution boards, tourism, and police Maintain an exceptional experience for guests by ensuring all five senses (vision, hearing, touch, smell, and taste) are catered to alwaysQualifications:Hospitality graduate or diploma Outstanding communication, interpersonal, leadership, and time-management skills More than 5 years of operational knowledge in hotel management or front desk Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills Willingness to work pan India (flexible)
