Vedanta’s Bauxite and Coal mines vertical will play a crucial role in this endeavor, being strategically poised to be the largest value creators for the aluminum business.To partner with us on this exciting journey, we are seeking passionate, self-driven professionals for the role ofMines Manager - Sijimali Bauxite Mine (Aluminium)in Mining Business.This is a vital role that will be crucial in unlocking increased value and growth for the business.Roles & Responsibility: To implement and enforce safety procedures to minimize accidents and ensure compliance To look after complete mining operation and maintaining proper safety & environment standard To oversee production schedules, equipment maintenance, and workflow to optimize productivity To produce & dispatch the targeted quantity of Bauxite with quality as per the annual business plan/ mining plan To maintain all the statutory plans as per the requirement of regulatory bodies To look after the safety, health and welfare of the persons employed in the mine To meet all the available competent persons employed in the mine as per the statute To follow the statutory provisions strictly as per the regulatory bodies applicable to his area of responsibilities To see that all the documentation related to mine operations are well maintained Responsible for budgeting, cost analysis, and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or quality To build & maintain positive relationships with local communities & different stakeholdersCandidate Profile: 60% and above throughout academic career.
