The role requires a hands-on approach in managing inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring timely deliveries in coordination with production and sales teams. The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and optimizing warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Oversee and ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits. Manage stock movements, track inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain proper documentation. Implement inventory control procedures to avoid shortages and excess stock. Warehouse Operations: Supervise the loading, unloading, and organization of goods within the warehouse. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and sales departments to ensure timely availability of materials. Optimize space utilization and ensure proper stock arrangement for ease of identification and retrieval. Ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory methods. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Train staff on safety protocols, inventory management, and warehouse best practices. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Ensure that warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions to address any hazards. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock discrepancies, and other warehouse performance metrics. Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions in the ERP system. Coordination with Other Departments: Liaise with the procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination between departments. Handle communication with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams for inbound and outbound logistics.Qualifications and Skills: Any Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inventory planning and optimization. Certification in warehouse safety or logistics management. Experience in lean or 5S methodology for process improvement.
