Role Summary : The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including accounting, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will require a deep understanding of financial regulations, corporate laws, and accounting standards. The CA will play a key role in advising the company on financial strategy, minimizing financial risks, and ensuring overall financial health.Key Responsibilities : Financial Management : Financial Reporting : Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with statutory regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Cost Management : Analyze and control costs to improve efficiency and profitability.Audit and Compliance : Internal and External Audits : Plan and oversee internal audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and external audits as required. Taxation : Handle all tax-related matters, including GST, income tax, and other statutory filings. Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the company complies with all financial laws and regulations, including corporate governance requirements and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).Financial Analysis : Financial Advisory : Provide strategic financial advice to senior management based on analysis of financial data and market trends. Risk Management : Identify and evaluate financial risks and suggest mitigating strategies to protect the company’s assets and reputation. Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize the use of funds for investments or expansion.Team Collaboration : Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to align financial strategies with business objectives. Financial Reporting to Leadership : Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the company’s financial performance, risks, and opportunities.Requirements : Chartered Accountant (CA) qualificationwith certification from ICAI. 3+ yearsof experience in financial management, accounting, auditing, and taxation. Strong knowledge ofaccounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)and financial regulations. Experience withfinancial reporting, budgeting, and cost control . Proficiency in accounting software such asTally, SAP, QuickBooks , or other ERP systems. Advanced Excel skillsand experience with financial modeling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Preferred Skills : Experience in managingcorporate taxand handling audits. Familiarity withe-commerce ,manufacturing , orservice industriesis a plus.
