The Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) practice of KPMG in India has been advising and assisting India’s development objective by seamlessly bridging the gap between Government’s vision and execution, steering impactful initiatives across the spectrum of infrastructure, industrial and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development as well as tourism, leisure, and sports. Our team of multi-domain experts has successfully delivered national priority strategic engagements, providing guidance and insights to central and state governments, Public Sector Units (PSUs), and multilateral institutionsMinimum Years of Work Experience:7 yearsRelevant Work Experience Desired: Minimum 3 years of experience in preparation of financial models Experience with financial assessment for travel / tourism / hospitality sector organisations Experience with preparation of financial dashboards is desirable. Experience with PPP projects – project structuring, financial modelling, feasibility assessment – is desirable.Job Description: The candidate shall be a part of the program management unit with tourism clients in the government sector. The team is providing strategic and program management support as well as helping draft and implement sectoral policies and facilitating investments and PPP in Karnataka’s tourism sector. Analyse the financial health and performance of Karnataka’s tourism corporations. Identify financial inefficiencies and recommend strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Develop frameworks to regular monitor financial metrics and corporate performance. Contribute to development of financial policies and strategies to promote sustainable tourism. Advise on strategies to improve occupancy rates, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Identify gaps in service delivery, efficiency, and profitability and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Help develop SOPs and benchmarks for operational excellence. Develop frameworks to monitor the performance of hotels, resorts, tours, and service offerings. Advise tourism corporations on strategies to improve occupancy rates, customer satisfaction, and profitability of hotels, resorts, tour packages, and service offerings. Explore innovative funding mechanisms to tourism initiatives. Develop investment profiles for tourism, hospitality, and infrastructure projects. Design and implement strategies to attract domestic and international investments. Support in the preparation of RFQ / RFP / EOI and contract / concession agreement / MoUs Assist in evaluation bids, managing negotiations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. Explore collaborations to expand the reach and impact of tourism initiatives in Karnataka.
