Job Description:The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, have excellent presentation skills, and be a driven, reliable team player. Subjects: Rachna Sharir/ Kruya Sharir/ Samhita & Siddhanta/ Sanskrit Required Skills: Strong passion for academic excellence & educa tionStrong communication sk illsReliable, on time, efficient, & professi onalCommitment to evidence based, scientifically valid knowl edgeWillingness to work hard & overcome challe ngesHave completed an Ayurvedic degree programs General Responsibili ties:Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate lea rningProvide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive lea rningMinimum 20 hours teaching load per week.Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and fee dbackMaintain a tidy and orderly clas sroomCollaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular mee tingsPlan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and e ventsObserve and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.To set, evaluate, and mark students’ course work, homework and other assignments promptly, and to record marks on College systems as requested, in accordance with the College Assessment and Marking Policy and proced ures.To carry out formative and summative assessments as appropr iate.To complete associated and administrative tasks to deadlines, as dire cted.To induct students appropriately, to provide academic advice, counseling, educational guidance, and tutorial support to students, including individual learning plans as dire cted.To supervise students’ attendance and behaviour and follow up as appropriate, in accordance with the College Behaviour and Attendance poli cies.To undertake any reasonable duties as required.
