The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations & customer service: - ·Reduction in process cycle time, improvement in productivity levels. ·Decrease in defect rates, adherence to quality control measures. ·Utilization rate of resources, minimizing wastage. ·Optimizing resource allocation including manpower, materials, and equipment. ·Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Minimize and maintain the resolution time for customers. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Knowledge of inventory control principles and logistics processes Effective communication and interpersonal skills Leading and developing the operations team: - ·Employee satisfaction levels. ·Conducting monthly performance review. ·Driving team quality analysis. ·Identify the training needs and be responsible for the completion of training. Strategic planning, operational cost control, process improvement & transport management: - ·Introduction of new strategies for smooth operations. ·Achievement of strategic objectives. ·Alignment of strategies with organizational growth. ·Cost reduction activities. ·Variance between budget and actual expense. ·Number of process improvements implemented. ·How much efficiency achieved. ·Transport vendor development. Invoice verification. Inventory Management: - ·Managing inventory levels of consumables to meet demand while minimizing excess. ·Converting inventory to stock to meet customer order demand. ·Ensure physical inventory audit periodically. ·Ensuring all new material addition in stock. ·Ensure timely movement of scrap material as per SOP. ·Identify slow moving items and update the same to management. ·Timely raise indent to management in case of low inventory. Reports & Gate Pass verifications ·Verify overtime report. ·Verify production report. ·Verify stock report. ·Verify cutting making report. ·Review & verify stock Vs order report. ·Gate pass verification and sign.
