The role involves crafting innovative solutions to policy challenges, coordinating with stakeholders to implement programs effectively, and ensuring alignment with broader developmental goals. This position requires a strong understanding of governance frameworks and political ecosystem, with a focus on the North East region (Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam).Key Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with government officials to design, implement, and monitor governance and policy initiatives. ● Conduct in-depth policy research and analysis to inform program development and decision-making. ● Develop strategic frameworks and action plans for effective delivery of public services. ● Assess the impact of ongoing governance projects and recommend improvements. ● Provide technical support for formulating policies in public health, education, rural development, infrastructure and other critical sectors. ● Draft reports, policy briefs, and presentations for high-level stakeholders. ● Ensure alignment of governance projects with regional and national priorities. ● Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate exemplary client and stakeholder management.Position Requirements: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier 1 academic institution, preferably in Political Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or Law. ● Prior experience in governance consultancy, policy research, or public sector projects. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesise complex information. ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. ● Political acumen and understanding of governance structures in the North East region. ● Proficiency in data analysis tools and policy evaluation techniques is an advantage. ● Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience working on government projects at the district, state, or national levels. ● Familiarity with MS Office. ● Fluency in local languages and customs of the North EastP.S.
