We are members of Uniglobe, the World’s Largest Single Brand Travel Network with a presence in over 750 locations in more than 35 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia/Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our India ticketing team focused on handling airline ticketing queries from our corporate and leisure clients for travel within India. The successful candidate will be responsible for sharing flight schedules and airfares, booking airline tickets including meal and seat preferences, issuing boarding passes and also take care of reissue of tickets and refunds.In addition, the travel consultant is also expected to raise invoices, periodically and proactively take client feedback, and stay updated with developments and changes in the travel industry,Role Description The job description of the Travel Consultant will include:®Handling customer enquiries and flight ticket reservations including issuance of tickets and boarding passes ®Understanding customer’s travel requirements and provide them the requisite information on flight schedules, fares and connections as per the company’s service level response commitment ®Managing the client’s expectations and deliverables effectively in a timely manner and handling customer complaints ®Booking client’s meal and seat preference and assisting clients with ancillary bookings (excess baggage, extra leg room seats etc), web check-in and take care of special needs (wheelchair, airport assistance etc) ®Assisting customers throughout the journey as required and handle changes, disruptions that may arise during travel ®Processing ticket cancellations and refunds ®Raising invoices and following up with clients for payments for flight tickets issued ®Maintaining a good rapport with the airline sales & operations staffQualifications: Personal Skill Set: 1) Customer Service and Sales skills 2) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3) Good time management skills 4) Attention to detail and accuracy 5) Planning & organizing skills 6) Energetic, confident and result oriented 7) Ability to work independently and as part of a teamTechnical Skill Set: 1) Diploma or Bachelor's degree is a must - in Travel & Tourism or IATA qualification is an added plus 2) Prior experience in domestic airline ticketing will be an added bonus 3) Knowledge of reservation systems (GDS / online booking systems) is an added bonus 4) Knowledge of Indian geography, airlines & airports in India is beneficial to excel in the role 5) Good computer knowledge, MS OfficeJob Location: Pune Job Type: Full time, On site Experience: Between 1 and 2 years is preferred
