Conducts basic troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware and software issues.Ensures requests are either resolved or escalated quickly as needed. Monitors and reportson Help Desk performance metrics. Assists with initialIT onboarding and deploys equipmentto new Cognoids on their first day. Supports existing platforms and identifies areasthat can be automated or streamlined. Assists in testingnew systems-related policies and changes to existing policies. Supports and assistsprojects related to technology upgrades(e.g., office moves/renovations, IT infrastructure changes, security). Works with vendors to secure quotes. Responsible for creatingand maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for IT Systems and business applications. Build and maintainon-going relationships with internal businessunits and externalthird party vendors/providers. Must be willingto undertake any other tasks, as directed by the EuropeanIT Manager. Demonstrate a positive“do what it takes” attitude. Exemplify Cognex’s “Work Hard, Play Hard, Move Fast” culture.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: CompTIA, Microsoft,Vmware, Cisco or Other industrycertification highly desirable. Working knowledge of Windows 10/11,Office 365, ActiveDirectory (local/Azure) a requirement Familiarity with Exchange. Basic TCP/IP knowledge. Excellent communication skills with the ability to support variouslevels of end users remotely. Experience in adhering to SLA / KPIs. Basic familiarity with ITIL practices. Excellent time management skillsand ability to work undertime pressure. Be Professional, customercentric, excellent team player,with a willingness to learn new skills and technologiesMinimum education and work experience required:Fluency in English(Written and Oral). 3rd level Information Technology RelatedDiploma/Degree highly desirable.
