Job Purpose: This position will work in leading all aspects of design development works, including overall development management of new developments and existing assets focussing primarily on residential projects.Key Responsibilities: Conceptualise all development design requirements including preliminary massing, schedule of areas and specifications and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy. Manage and control the development of initial massing/ feasibilities, design concepts/options, pipelines for the projects and to ensure these options/concepts are delivered on time and meet the requirements. Manage the design consultants and liaise with all relevant stakeholders to meet the development strategy and product requirement. Accountable and responsible for the management of the design development process from inception to completion. Ensure that the design meets the required quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.Requirements: Master and/or Degree in Architecture. At least 4 years of relevant design development experience in Residential projects, across group housing, plotted, villa and integrated township development with the ability to draw, design and articulate key details. Technical skills in Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe in Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper. Knowledge of parametric design and ability to write scripts would be an advantage. Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of the development. Ability to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of various stakeholders both internal and external.
