Job Summary:You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and making judgments on student academic applications to be admitted to developmental, certification, and degree-earning programs. You must be able to assess a student’s overall academic achievements, leadership skills, and general merit for admission purposes. They must understand the admissions process and requirements of their organization.Responsibilities:Interview students and assess their academic achievements, leadership capabilities, and suitability for admission. Provide prospective students with information related to enrollment procedure and requirements. Research and evaluate student eligibility qualifications. Attend college fairs and guidance counseling events to reach out to potential admission candidates. Provide guidance and advice to students regarding the admissions and enrollment procedures. Define, develop, and implement admission process policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor and maintain records related to admission.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student counseling, or related field. Knowledge of the admissions process and institutional eligibility criteria. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and data analysis aptitude. Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work.
