Position Overview: The Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring and enhancing the quality standards of academic and administrative processes in the institution. The Director will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance policies, practices, and initiatives in alignment with the goals of the institution and accreditation requirements.Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to establish a culture of quality within the institution. Align IQAC activities with the institution's mission, vision, and goals.Quality Assurance and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate academic and administrative processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Lead initiatives for quality enhancement in teaching, learning, research, and service delivery. Facilitate the development of innovative practices to improve institutional performance. Data Management and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and disseminate data related to key performance indicators (KPIs) of the institution. Prepare and maintain institutional data required for accreditation, ranking, and regulatory purposes. Accreditation and Compliance: Oversee preparation for accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC, NBA) and compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure timely submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQARs) and other statutory documents. Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to build awareness and skills related to quality assurance among faculty, staff, and students. Promote professional development opportunities for faculty and administrative staff. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate active participation and feedback from stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and industry representatives. Foster collaborations and partnerships to enhance institutional quality and visibility. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of IQAC activities, policies, and outcomes. Report progress and provide recommendations to the management and governing bodies.Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Experience: At least10-15 years of experiencein academic administration, quality assurance, or related roles, with a proven track record of leadership. Familiarity with accreditation frameworks (e.g., NAAC, NBA) and institutional ranking systems. Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in using data management and reporting tools.
