Job Title:Social Media Manager Location : Magic Bus India Foundation | Head Office - Airoli, Mumbai Department : Communications & Marketing Reports To:Head of Communications / Marketing DirectorJob Overview: Magic Bus India Foundation is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead and execute social media strategies that engage and inspire young people, communities, and partners. This role focuses on building a strong brand presence, creating compelling content, managing agency relationships, and driving impactfull social media campaigns that contribute to Magic Bus’ mission of empowering young people through skill development programs.Key Responsibilities:Social Media Strategy & Execution: • Work with the social media agency to develop and implement a dynamic social media strategy to enhance Magic Bus' digital presence and engage with our target audience. • Design and execute thematic social campaigns aligned with organizational goals, ensuring content is both engaging and informative. • Increase social media followers and engagement, and growing LinkedIn newsletter subscribers.Content Creation & Management: • Work with the social media agency to create a minimum of 50 content pieces per month, including posts, videos, infographics, and other formats. • Lead the creation of social media posts with team, ensuring they align with the brand’s messaging and goals. • Develop and manage content for external newsletters and email campaigns, amplifying the Foundation’s voice and initiatives. • Craft content for social media campaigns, including reels, stories, and user generated content (UGC) contests.Agency Management: • Ensure the agency meets the Statement of Work (SOW) and delivers engaging and high-quality content. • Oversee the production of all content with external agencies, ensuring alignment with Magic Bus's brand values and communication goals.Analytics & Reporting: • Use analytics tools to track the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. • Provide monthly reports on social media metrics, including traffic, followers, impressions, and engagement. • Drive the increase of social traffic to the Magic Bus India Foundation website.Internal Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media content with broader organizational initiatives. • Manage internal stakeholder expectations and deliver regular updates on social media. • Organize quarterly internal UGC contests to boost engagement and community interaction. • Provide Digital Marketing team with content support as per need for pitch documents, campaign landing pages, presentations, emails, WhatsApp, etc.Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • 7 – 8 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, preferably within the nonprofit or education sector. • Proven track record of creating and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness. • Strong experience in agency management and cross-functional collaboration. • Expertise in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, InShots, etc.) and social media management platforms (e.g., Zoho, Meta Business). • Ability to analyze and report on social media performance and use data to inform future strategies.Personal Attributes: • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for digital storytelling. • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communicator with excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills. • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Commitment to the mission of Magic Bus and a genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of young people.
