Designation : Senior Design Engineer Reporting to : Lead Design Engineer Location : Bangalore, Full Time Qualification : BE / M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience : 3 - 6 YearsPosition Overview: This role is one of the Senior Team members in the Design team for Industrial Water. The role is to execute the engineering activities such as Piping Design/Routing,3D Modelling, detailed design, and manufacturing drawings. The selected candidate will be responsible for the quality of deliverables and for managing time of all the projects executed.Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. • Experience in mechanical piping/Plant design at the system/subsystem level in the water treatment equipment industry. • Knowledge of materials, processes, and finishing operations. • Proficiency in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. • Exposure to manufacturing environments and processes. • Exposure in large fabrications, piping systems, industrial structures, pressure vessels, tanks, valves, and pumps used in water treatment equipment. • Familiarity with EPC systems and advanced technical review methods. • Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes. • Experience in Pipe Routing, Plant layout, and SolidWorks PDM. • Exposure to PV Elite, Codeware Compress, ASME Section VIII Div.1 Code Calculations, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 is an added advantage. • Knowledge of technical writing is an added advantage. • Experience working in a global engineering environment with cross-functional collaboration and multicontinent reporting. • Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse engineering settings
