Perform review to ensure accuracy of reporting. Drive digital adoption. Interact with auditors and complete Quarterly and annual accounts. Preparation of reports for board reporting. Ensure statutory compliances – under fiscal statutes (Direct/Indirect taxation, RBI regulations etc.) Effective tax planning & management Management of funds to improve the returns and working capital management Track & monitor budget vs actual and report variances and enforce corrective actions. Publishing MIS in a timebound manner. Implement systems for account level P&L measurement for large clients Support business in pricing decisions and contract negotiations Analyse and benchmark financial metrics Vs competition Performance of projectwise/company level FTE analysis for optimisation of billable resource rate and reduction in bench cost Optimize and ensure adequate Insurance cover Assess M&A opportunities, participate in due deligence and assist in negotiation Analyse and benchmark financial metrics Vs competition Cost reduction and profit improvement initiatives People development Supporting M&A / investment related activities Support MBR and board material/management reports & transfer pricing as may be required between multiple entitiesQualifications, Skills & Experience CA/MBA in Finance/ Degree - Finance with 15 years experience in mid size IT companies having worked as a finance head with sound commercial knowledge, knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal laws. Experience in SAP. Exposure to various accounting functions The individual should possess at least 3 years of tech/services startups experience (Products & Services) growing at ~2-3x Y/Y Willing to travel
