JOB LOCATION- MUMBAI/HYBRID SHIFT- 24/7 Relevant Experience- 3+ YEARS in SOC General Summary: The Sr. Team Leader of Security Operations is responsible for leading a global team of entry level to experienced professionals focused on providing security solutions, project and process management, and partner satisfaction tracking. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. They play a crucial role in driving productivity, fostering collaboration, and maintaining a positive work environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including task assignment, workload management, and ensuring deadlines are met. Collaborate with management to establish team goals and objectives aligned with the overall business strategy. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the team's function. Continuously seek ways to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and optimize team performance. Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise within the team, such as conflicts, resource constraints, or process inefficiencies. Analyze problems, propose Security solutions, Identify training needs within the team, support the professional growth of team members by providing mentoring, coaching, and opportunities for skill enhancement. Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency Designs, implements, and maintains security solutions Defines and owns metrics and key performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of the team Addresses escalated partner satisfaction issues related to security solutions or delivery to maintain a high degree of customer serviceKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: Exceptional leadership and customer service skills Willingness to work in a team environment Strong organizational skills to provide clear direction for the team, coupled with hands-on knowledge of security tools. Professional presence suitable for interaction in meetings, in person, or via email Excellent presentation and communication skills Set performance expectations and provide feedback and coaching Knowledge of business requirement-gathering processes and use cases Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) model Preferred: Knowledge of infrastructure as code processes and toolsEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience Having experience in SOC operations / managing MSSP support will be a valuable asset 3+ years of relevant Security domain experience Successfully managed service delivery for the Security support function in the past Preferred: CompTIA, ISC2, Microsoft, EC Council, or related certification
