As a Sous Chef, you're in charge of all multiple kitchen operations Menu planning, Preparation, presentation & standardization of recipes, Quality control, Inventory Control, Cost Control & Profitability, team management.Job Role and ResponsibilityMenu Planning and Design:Plan and design menus, standardize recipes, and ensure food presentation meets high standards. Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop food budgets and forecasts, estimate daily and weekly requirements, and monitor food wastage to ensure cost-effective operations. Staff Management:Plan and maintain appropriate staffing levels, prepare duty rosters, and motivate and develop staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent client service. Quality Control:Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications, defined standards, and HACCP measures. New Product Introduction:Introduce new products and recipes, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards. Operational Efficiency:Identify optimal, cost-effective use of resources, educate the team, and participate in stock inventories.
