With our ability to both source and innovate using our range of complementary ingredients, we can collaborate with our customers to create new, adventurous concepts that tap into these fast-moving trends. ofi in India aims to be the supplier of choice, from sourcing and processing to logistics and marketing.Position Overview The incumbent will be responsible for Sales of Almond & Pistachio & Hazelnut ingredients to the large Food manufacturers in India in ice cream, sweets, biscuit and chocolate segment. The position will be reporting to Vice President – Nut Ingredient and Head of Sales- Nuts (APAC).Position Responsibilities: • Commercial Management – strong understanding of Ingredients and responsible for handling customer interactions. The role would form a link between processing in VN and the customer and provide the impetus needed for onboarding and retaining customers. • Business Development - Growth of volumes, margins and increase in customer interactions - focused on Single-nut ingredients and single-nut applications (like powders, pastes, meals, and oils). • Communication with multiple entities – effective communication skills and product/quality knowledge are critical. • Destination stock management and Vendor-Managed Inventory stock management – highlighting in time and looking for solutions. • Costs, Logistics – good background on supply chain is necessary. • Customer Claims – presentation, evaluation, quantification, follow-up and closure. • Project Management – identify and execute larger customer/product strategic opportunities and take ownership. Over the last few years, we’ve added a lot of capabilities which need sales leadership and dedicated follow-up to ensure that they are scaled up rather than just remaining smaller lines. • Manage day to day counterparty risk, resolving quality disputes, supply chain challenges both at origin and destination for expanding annual sales volumes and GC margins • Knowledge of Import and Export related processes- Should understand our different Business Models. • Should manage the execution process of trades through Import, Domestic distribution having complete understanding of the Import Documentation and required processes to be followed. • Warehouse Planning and Management for Domestic distribution sales model. • Maintaining Tracker for various processes such as Sales, Import Documentation, Payment tracker against the sales made, weekly review of the trackers and continuous updating as per the needs. • Expanding business in new horizons, customer acquisition and providing the best customer services through better offers and timely problem solving. • Responsible for both domestic & Import Sales of Almond & other nuts to Indian Importers, processors and traders managing the end -end to supply chain for domestic nuts business.Experience & Qualification • MBA in Sales/Marketing from a tier I / tier 2 Institute having 7-10 years of Agri Commodity Sales/Trading/B2B Sales.
