L&T incorporated a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) - L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited ("The Company") to implement the Project on Design, Built, Finance Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The Hyderabad Metro Rail is the world’s largest metro project in public-private partnership mode. It covers 69.2 km across three corridors, transforming Hyderabad, triggering robust economic activity around the city.Job Responsibilities: Failures analysis, root cause identification and preventive measures to minimize the train failures by Hardware or Software modifications. Monitoring the complete list of failures, trend analysis/pattern etc., and ensuring the failures are minimized by optimum proposal. SOP’s review and validation Interface management with other departments (Sig, OHE, Track etc.,) Regular audit of Rolling Stock and Depot Assets as per the audit calendar. Liaison with Independent engineer for audits and its compliance. Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for rolling stock. Ensure the availability and reliability of rolling stock to meet operational schedules. Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of spare parts and consumables. Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics to identify improvement areas. Handle emergency repairs and ensure minimal disruption to operations. Rolling Stock Technical and General specification preparation, design documents review, testing and commissioning etc.,Qualifications-B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics , with minimum5 years experience in Rolling Stock Maintenanceor a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Required Functional Competencies Knowledge of rolling stock systems (e.g., propulsion, braking, suspension, and HVAC systems). Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical engineering principles related to trains. Experience in using diagnostic tools and software for rolling stock maintenance. Familiarity with standards and regulations for rail safety (e.g., ISO 15085, EN 50126).Required Behavioral Competencies: Supervisory & Team management skills. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and Analytical Thinking.
