Job Title : Assistant Team Leader - ServiceNow Engineering (India) Location : India Reports To : Technical Lead, Automation Team Purpose : The Assistant Team Leader (ATL) role is responsible for driving the delivery of the Continuous Improvement Pipeline for the India-based team. This role involves supporting the Technical Lead to ensure all engineers adhere to Agile software delivery methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to deliver quality, on-time code. The ATL is also responsible for the mentorship of all India-based engineering resources.Key Accountabilities : Advocate and support Agile methodologies across the team. Coach and guide team members to develop their skills and align with Agile best practices. Promote best practices to ensure the delivery of quality work. Identify and remove any impediments hindering team performance and optimize output. Lead the transition and transformation of teams towards Agile principles and values. Ensure on-time delivery of fortnightly iterations while maintaining a high standard of quality. Actively explore improvements in team processes to optimize the delivery of quality code.Leadership & Team Development : Manage day-to-day operations of the team, including capacity and availability planning. Provide one-on-one coaching sessions and mentoring to support team members in realizing their potential. Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) and Quality Assurance (QA) resources to align development efforts. Assist with recruitment activities to build a high-performing team.Job Requirements :Education : Degree in IT, Business, or Commerce - Desirable ServiceNow CAD & CSA - EssentialIndustry Experience : IT experience – Essential Travel industry experience – DesirableExperience : A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical development role related to ServiceNow.
