Role & Responsibilities Knowledge of different variety of Pastry, Brownie, Bread, Chocolate, Bakery The assistant chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen standard recipes and procedure Keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moments notice. Ensure of safety and hygiene procedures being adhered to. Indenting raw materials as per the production and requirement. Checking the quality of received perishables. Interacting with guest incase of some allergies or food complaints. Food cost and wastage control. Liaison between the junior staff and the Executive chef.Preferred candidate profile BHM Ensuring food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet our standard guidelines.
