Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer – Transmission & Gear Design (Full-Time, Rajkot)Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Transmission and Gear Design to join our team in Rajkot. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in designing complex mechanical systems, proficiency in using tools like Creo, KISSsoft, and other relevant design software, and a strong understanding of transmission and gear mechanisms. This is a full-time, on-site position.Key Responsibilities: 1. Design & Development: • Design and develop gearboxes, transmissions, and related components based on project requirements. • Perform detailed 3D modeling and 2D drafting using Creo. • Utilize KISSsoft and other analytical tools like Romax for gear design, optimization, and validation.2. Analysis & Testing: • Conduct strength, durability, and load analysis for gears and transmissions. • Collaborate with testing teams to validate designs through prototype testing and field trials. • Implement necessary design modifications based on analysis and testing feedback.3. Documentation: • Prepare detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications for manufacturing. • Maintain design documentation and version control throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.4. Collaboration: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to ensure manufacturability and performance. • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection and component sourcing. • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation. 5.
