Job Description

TheHRBP - Regional Business Programsis responsible for delivering HR support and strategic partnership to regional programs inTamil NaduandKarnataka . This role involves managing workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and engagement activities specific to these regions. The HRBP will collaborate closely with regional leaders to ensure smooth operations, effective talent management, and a positive work culture aligned with both local and organizational goals.Key Responsibilities: Regional HR Partnership : Serve as the primary HR contact for theTamil and Karnataka programs , understanding their unique needs and aligning HR practices accordingly. Collaborate with regional program leaders to identify HR strategies that support business objectives and improve operational efficiency. ProvideHR insights and guidanceon workforce planning, resource allocation, and staffing for regional projects. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding : Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to attract, hire, and onboard talent specific to the Tamil and Karnataka programs. Coordinatelocal onboarding processes , ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly and quickly adapt to the program’s environment. Conduct orientation sessions tailored to regional needs, covering organizational culture, expectations, and community-based engagement. Employee Relations & Engagement : Address employee relations issues, including grievances and conflicts, ensuring fair and timely resolution to promote a harmonious work environment. Design and executeemployee engagement activitiesthat are culturally relevant and foster a strong sense of belonging within regional teams. Conduct regularcheck-ins and feedback sessionswith employees to gauge engagement levels and address any concerns proactively. Performance Management & Development : Support managers in theperformance management process , including goal-setting, regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews. Provide guidance ondevelopment plansfor high-potential employees within the Tamil and Karnataka programs. Assist managers in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans (PIPs) when needed. Learning & Development (L&D) : Identify training and development needs specific to the regional teams, working with the L&D team to create relevant programs. Promote participation in L&D programs, especially those aimed at enhancing skills relevant to the Tamil and Karnataka program goals. Track training participation and gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of L&D initiatives for regional employees. Compliance & Policy Implementation : Ensure that all HR practices in the Tamil and Karnataka programs comply with local labor laws and organizational policies. Provide regular training on HR policies, code of conduct, and legal requirements to maintain a compliant work environment. Conduct periodic audits of regional HR practices to ensure policy adherence and mitigate potential risks. Data Analysis & Reporting : Monitor and report on key HR metrics for the Tamil and Karnataka programs, including turnover, engagement scores, and performance trends. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for HR leadership, highlighting regional HR challenges, successes, and areas for improvement. Use data to make informed recommendations for enhancing employee experience and optimizing HR support for the regional programs. Key Competencies: Cultural Sensitivity : Understanding of regional cultural nuances, with the ability to tailor HR practices that respect local values and customs. Relationship Building : Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with regional leaders and employees. Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution : Skilled in handling employee relations issues and resolving conflicts constructively. Adaptability : Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and adjust HR support based on changing needs. Data-Driven Decision Making : Proficient in using HR metrics and analytics to enhance regional HR processes and employee experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degreein Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of HR experience , preferably with experience supporting regional or multi-location teams. Strong knowledge ofHR best practicesin employee relations, talent acquisition, and engagement. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage with employees across cultural and regional lines. Preferred Qualifications: HR certification(e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage. Experience inregional HR supportor managing HR for a dispersed workforce. Familiarity withlocal labor lawsin Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
