Job Description: Head of Ad Operations Location:Bangalore, India Type:Full-Time About the role We are looking for a Head of Ad Operations to lead and oversee our Ad Operations efforts. This critical role requires a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem, programmatic advertising, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and managerial skills to drive operational excellence, align with business objectives, and ensure seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities Programmatic Advertising & Deal Management: Oversee the curation and management of Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) and Private Marketplace (PMP) deals. Work with multiple DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk (TTD), Adform, and other industry-leading DSPs to curate, troubleshoot, and optimize programmatic deals. Have a strong understanding of Supply-Side Platforms & ecosystems. Monitor campaign performance and proactively resolve technical issues to ensure the delivery of KPIs.AdTech Integration & Technical Expertise: Collaborate with Product Teams to bridge the technical understanding of the AdTech business and ensure seamless coordination between product and operations teams. Strong understanding of the CTV, OTT, and streaming ecosystems, including supply-side technical integrations. Provide expert insights into the adtech ecosystem’s technical ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, and data platforms.Tracking & Measurement: Maintain expertise in DCM, Google Analytics, IAS, DV, attention metrics, and other tracking and measurement tools used within the industry. Partner with analytics and reporting teams to provide actionable insights from tracking platforms to improve campaign performance.Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical liaison for media agencies and clients, conducting technical conversations, presentations, and troubleshooting as needed. Ensure day-to-day operational alignment with sales and business development teams across different regions. Manage relationships with publishers on the supply side, ensuring smooth coordination and onboarding across OpenWeb and video ecosystems.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead the AdOps team, ensuring high performance and timely delivery of campaigns and projects. Oversee creative teams (with dotted-line reporting) to ensure on-time delivery of assets and their alignment with operational goals. Mentor and train team members to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Industry Trends & Advancements: Maintain a strong understanding of current industry trends, advancements, and innovations in the programmatic and adtech ecosystems. Share knowledge with internal teams to align the company with industry best practices.Operational Excellence: Develop, implement, and optimize workflows to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Monitor campaign delivery, troubleshoot discrepancies, and resolve issues with publishers and ad-serving platforms. Ensure compliance with industry standards, including data privacy and brand safety requirements.Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with sales, product, and development teams to align operational capabilities with business goals. Oversee supply-side onboarding and coordination with publishers, managing both OpenWeb and video supply ecosystems. Maintain strong collaboration with creative, analytics, and reporting teams to deliver campaign success.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, or a related field.Required Skills Experience: 8+ years in Ad Operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in programmatic advertising and CTV, including PG, PMP, and open exchange deals. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in DSPs (e.g., DV360, TTD, Adform) and ad-serving platforms (DCM, etc.). Proficiency in SSPs management and supply curation. In-depth understanding of CTV, OTT, streaming, and their technical integrations. Knowledge of tracking platforms such as IAS, DV, and attention measurement tools Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and data interpretation abilities. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of technical discussions with both internal and external stakeholders. Tools: Familiarity with ad-serving tools, reporting dashboards, and project management tools.Preferred Skills Experience in managing global Ad Operations teams. Familiarity with architecture and adtech infrastructure. Exposure to sales and business development workflows in the AdTech domain.
