This critical role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, QA, and release management, to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality products on time. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, a track record of driving successful product launches, and a strategic mindset focused on delivering business value.Key Responsibilities: Program Management for Product Releases: Manage the full lifecycle of product releases from concept through to successful launch. Ensure the product is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards by working closely with product and engineering teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, QA, and release management teams to plan, execute, and deliver product features. Drive alignment and coordination across teams to ensure that all aspects of the product release are well-managed and successfully executed. Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Track progress and milestones, identify risks, and make necessary adjustments to ensure that projects stay on track and meet delivery deadlines. Metrics & Decision Support: Define and use key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to support decision-making processes. Provide clear insights into project status, risks, and potential roadblocks to help inform executive and team-level decisions. Risk Management & Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks early in the project lifecycle. Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to address them. Resolve conflicts, balance competing priorities, and make trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints. Stakeholder Communication & Transparency: Foster clear, concise, and transparent communication across all stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines. Bottleneck Identification & Escalation Management: Anticipate and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks, delays, or blockers. Manage escalations in a timely manner, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure that issues are addressed before they affect project delivery. De-risking Product Launches: Develop and implement contingency plans and approaches to reduce the impact of potential risks during the product launch. Use iterative execution and out-of-the-box solutions to manage uncertainty and ensure a smooth release. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate engineering and product development processes, identifyingdeficiencies and inefficiencies. Work closely with teams to eliminate roadblocks, streamline workflows, and introduce process improvements that enhance team productivity and overall program delivery.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Experience: o 7+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or software engineering, with a focus on delivering complex, cross-functional programs. o Proven track record of managing end-to-end product releases, from concept through development to launch, in a technical or software environment. o Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and navigate complex technical issues and balance them against business requirements. o Extensive experience working with engineering teams, QA, and release management in an Agile or other iterative development environment. Skills & Competencies: o Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, track progress, and adjust resources to meet deadlines. o Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello. o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders. o Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams toward common objectives. o Problem-solving mindset, with a focus on identifying and addressing bottlenecks, risks, and issues proactively. o Experience with release management, QA processes, and managing risks during product launches.Preferred Skills: Experience in managing cloud-based, SaaS, or enterprise software product releases.
