As part of the multi-site research effort, working on this project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a study that will have a long-lasting impact on child health in India.Position Summary We are seeking qualified Nutritionists to support the project site in Delhi. Inaddition to assessing dietary intake and nutrition habits, the person will conduct both general nutrition and lactation counselling for participating mothers, fostering healthy feeding practices that support optimal child growth.Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from a recognized university. § Experience: At least one year experience in nutrition research, community nutrition, or a related field, with direct experience in lactation counselling and/or maternal and child nutrition counselling preferred.Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive lactation counselling to support breastfeeding practices, guidance on age-appropriate complementary feeding for caregivers, and conduct dietary assessments. -Implement and monitor standardized protocols for nutritional assessments and counselling, ensuring high data quality and adherence to study protocols. -Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support all counselling activities and facilitate smooth field operations.Knowledge and Skills In-depth knowledge of public health nutrition, dietetics, and lactation support practices. § Proficiency in nutrition and lactation counselling, with the ability to address common challenges in breastfeeding and complementary feeding. § Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups. § Familiarity with field data collection practices, as well as the ability to support ongoing field activities. § Proficiency in English and Hindi to effectively conduct counselling sessions and collaborate with team members.Application Instructions If you are excited to be part of this project of national significance, please submit your CV, a cover letter, and two professional references to careers@.
