Position:Insurance Training Manager Location:Chennai Experience Required:Minimum 5+ years in insurance training Employment Type:Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Insurance Training Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the insurance sector and a proven track record in training and development. This role involves designing, delivering, and managing training programs to enhance the skills and performance of Partners, Relationship Managers (RMs), and other resources, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales and operational goals.Key Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training modules for Partners, RMs, and other team members. Cover diverse topics, including product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance, customer relationship management, and industry updates. Customize training programs based on the audience's needs and company objectives. Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions in both classroom and virtual formats. Use a variety of methodologies such as workshops, role-plays, case studies, and simulations to enhance learning effectiveness. Deliver periodic refresher training sessions to ensure knowledge retention and application. Performance Assessment: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, tests, and performance metrics. Identify skill gaps and design follow-up programs to address areas of improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to identify training needs and align programs with business goals. Work closely with HR to integrate training into employee development plans. Partner with insurance providers to ensure updated product and regulatory training. Compliance & Industry Updates: Stay updated on IRDAI regulations, industry trends, and new insurance products. Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and legal requirements. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of training programs, attendance, and performance outcomes. Provide regular reports to management on training effectiveness and participant progress.Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred in Business, Insurance,). Certification in training or insurance (e.g., Licentiate, Associate, or Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India) is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in training within the insurance industry. Proven experience in training diverse groups, including Partners, RMs, and frontline sales teams. Skills: Strong knowledge of life and general insurance products and sales strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using training tools and technologies for virtual and in-person delivery. Analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and improve future sessions. Other Requirements: Ability to travel as required for on-site training sessions. Fluency in English and Hindi is a plus.
