Based in Jalandhar, Punjab, the company was founded in 1960 and has since been driving India's Sports Goods industry.About the role We are looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead our Garments Unit. The roles and responsibilities will include: Leading the department's Manufacturing and Operations, in coordination with Quality, Purchase, Dispatch and Maintenance departments Will oversee day-to-day production tasks, manage production schedules, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and ensure quality control and efficiency in the production process Ensure the best systems and processes are in place at the factory, including Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TQM. To Ensure the achievement of production targets for the plant within the cost, time, and quality norms Work on improving the manufacturing practices with best engineering practices and reducing costs of operations Follow up on production plan from cutting to sewing and achieving targeted line efficiency.
