Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Reporting & Analysis Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate business reports, providing financial and operational insights, and managing Data insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in reporting tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to drive business performance improvements.Key Responsibilities: 1. Reporting and Data Analysis: Develop and maintain various business reports, including but not limited to: Warehouse Inventory Reports: Monitor stock levels, turnover rates, and supply chain efficiency. Monthly Margin Reports: Evaluate profitability, highlighting key financial trends. Buying Cost Analysis: Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation. Sales Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities based on sales performance. Defective Claims Reports: Prepare detailed reports on defective product claims and work closely with manufacturers for resolutions. 2. Financial and Operational Insights: Highlight variances in margins, costs, and revenue to aid in strategic decision-making. Support planning and budgeting activities through data-driven forecasts of performance metrics. 3. Defective Claims Management: Ensure accurate record-keeping of all claims, settlements, and resolutions for audit and compliance purposes. Work to minimise defective claims by identifying root causes and suggesting process improvements. 4. Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to gather data and ensure consistency across reports. Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders for reporting-related needs. 5. Process Improvement: Drive the development of automated reporting solutions to improve data accuracy and report generation efficiency. Standardise reporting formats to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of understanding across business units.Key Skills & Qualifications: Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and present actionable insights. Proficiency in Reporting Tools: Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation/reporting tools. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in generating reports and managing defective claims. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey findings to various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify discrepancies in data and defective claims, and provide timely solutions.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields.
