You will collaborate closely with our culinary team to develop new recipes, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure that every product meets our excellence criteria. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in pastry arts, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for culinary innovation, particularly in international and French dessert techniques.Key Responsibilities: Develop and create a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, emphasizing international styles and French entremets. Design and test new recipes to expand our menu offerings, incorporating global flavors and advanced French pastry techniques. Ensure consistency and quality in all products by adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Manage inventory, including ordering and maintaining supplies to minimize waste. Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Collaborate with the head chef and culinary team to plan and execute special events and seasonal menus. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen. Formal training in pastry arts from a recognized culinary school is preferred. Extensive experience in creating international-style desserts and French entremets. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and dessert presentation. Creativity and a passion for developing innovative and visually appealing desserts. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
