Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile and skilled Shopify & WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, customizing, and maintaining websites on both Shopify and WordPress platforms. You will play a key role in creating user-friendly, high-performing, and visually appealing e-commerce and content-based websites, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain websites on Shopify and WordPress platforms. Create custom themes, plugins, and templates tailored to our requirements. Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement responsive and visually appealing designs. Optimize website performance, speed, and user experience for both Shopify and WordPress sites. Implement and manage e-commerce functionality using Shopify (including Shopify Plus) and WooCommerce. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth website operation. Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services to enhance website functionality. Ensure website security, including regular updates, backups, and implementing best practices. Work closely with the SEO and marketing teams to ensure websites are optimized for search engines. Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify, WordPress, and web development. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Shopify Developer and WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Expertise in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and WordPress theme/plugin development. Strong knowledge of e-commerce functionality, including payment gateways, product pages, and checkout flows. Familiarity with page builders and Shopify customizations. Knowledge of website optimization techniques, including SEO, speed, and performance. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced WooCommerce customizations. Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
