We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of relevant experience to support the finance and accounting operations for our group of companies in the UAE. The role is based in our Kochi office, India, and involves assisting in financial reporting, compliance with UAE accounting standards, and effective financial management. Knowledge of UAE-specific accounting regulations and practices is a significant advantage.Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and UAE regulations. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for UAE companies. Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger accounts, and accounting records. Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax laws. Support the preparation of other statutory filings as required for UAE companies. Collaborate with auditors by organizing and providing required financial documentation. Ensure compliance with UAE-specific financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for UAE group companies. Provide data and insights to support senior management in financial decision-making. Process invoices, monitor expense reports, and manage payroll accounting. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes across group companies.Required Qualifications & Skills: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (either completed or in progress with at least 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience). Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in all financial tasks. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required. A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and process improvements.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of IFRS or local UAE accounting standards is an advantage. Familiarity with VAT regulations and tax filing in the UAE. Experience in handling audits and financial compliance in the UAE.
