Methode Electronics India Pvt Ltd is looking for Engineers to be a part of Embedded validation team to work on all aspects of testing and validation of software for Automotive embedded systemRole & responsibilities Drive planning, coordination and execution of the embedded validation programs. Investigate and establish engineering best practices, design guidelines, standard engineering process and tool kits for product testing. Analyze operational requirements, standards, customer specifications, and other documentation to establish scope in sufficient detail for estimating and developing solutions. Work closely with Software development, Electrical and Mechanical teams Prepare and/or approve reports and presentations. Review, write and edit reports, designs, plans Optimizing delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and attain productivity targets Lead cross-functional communication between global teams and external vendorsPreferred candidate profile Member should have very good understanding of developing validation test plans and validating the embedded software developed for automotive system and non automotive systems Education: BE/ME/MSc in electronics /related engineeringKey Skills: Relevant Experience: 10 to 20 years . Knowledge on serial communication interface such as I2C, SPI, RS232, USB. Good understanding of communication protocols like CAN, LIN Knowledge on CAN testing tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe Ability to understand customer requirements and functional specification. Hands on exposure to writing test cases for given requirements Component with using laboratory equipment such as scopes, digital multimeters, and reading of traces data form logic analyser. Working knowledge of SEI CMMi level processes. Experience with software configuration management tools. Participating test plan reviews.
