Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audio-Video (AV) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of AV systems, with expertise in integrating various AV technologies for both corporate and large-scale installations. The individual will represent Syndrome at the client site and will need to travel to various locations across India.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Configuration:Implement and configure complex AV systems, including audio, video, control systems, and related components. Work with clients and project teams to define AV system requirements and design customized solutions. Setup, calibrate, and configure AV equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, microphones, and video conferencing tools. Ensure seamless integration of AV systems with IT infrastructure and control systems.System Testing & Troubleshooting:Perform detailed system tests, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for all AV systems and components. Resolve issues related to signal flow, wiring, configuration settings, and device compatibility. Provide ongoing system maintenance and performance optimization to meet client expectations.Client Interaction & Support:Interface with clients to understand their AV needs and offer appropriate solutions. Provide post-installation support, training, and technical assistance. Provide guidance on how to operate and maintain AV systems effectively.Documentation & Reporting:Create and maintain technical documentation for system installations, configurations, and operations. Ensure all project requirements, changes, and progress are accurately documented. Provide reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate with other teams for software or hardware compatibility.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and configuring AV systems, including experience with audio equipment, video displays, conferencing solutions, and control systems.Technical Skills:Proficient in the installation and configuration of AV systems (audio, video, lighting, etc.). Hands-on experience with AV control systems (e.g., CISCO). Strong knowledge of audio and video signal routing, switching, and integration. Familiarity with industry-standard AV equipment brands (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, Shure, Yamaha, Sennheiser). Experience with video conferencing solutions, unified communications, and collaboration tools. Basic understanding of network protocols and integration (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.).Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex AV systems.
