More information is available at : - Role Overview This role involves overseeing the planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating of activities necessary to produce various Cost Center reports including monthly financial reports, and other required reports. The individual will need to supervise the work of the staff and work under minimal supervision from the US-based manager [team], with extensive accounting principles knowledge and apply independent judgment. The individual will also be managing a team of associates and senior associates and ensure proper workflow, capacity management, talent development and cross-training. ' Profile Description The activities supported are primarily related to General and Administrative expenses. This begins with the monthly accounting processes for the expense close cycle which includes preparing AJE's for accruals, prepaid, reclass, amortization, etc.; maintaining supporting documentation; review of ledgers & sub ledger activity [A/P, F/A & Project Accounting]; and updating analysis. Monthly expense reports are maintained, updated, and distributed to the various stakeholders including the Expense team, Voya business segments, and senior leaders. Monthly and/or quarterly account reconciliations [certifications] are prepared for any Liability or Asset account balances. Various queries and analysis are required on a regular or ad hoc basis including support with expense systems uploads and audit requests. Assistance with various Forecast updates is required on an ad hoc basis. Month-end close expense reporting, variance analysis by segments [MoM, QoQ, and YoY] explaining variances with business drivers. Given the multiple Voya business segments and legal entries, activities to support the allocations of expenses are also performed.
