Head of Supply Chain- Job Overview- The Supply Chain Head will oversee the entire supply chain process, focusing on warehousing, logistics, stores management, and PAN India distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with ERPs to streamline processes and enhance productivity. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with business goals and drive operational excellence in our retailing network. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes across the organization. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. Warehousing and Logistics Management: Oversee and manage warehousing operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Manage logistics operations, including transportation planning and execution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery across PAN India. ERP and Process Optimization: Utilize ERP systems to enhance supply chain processes and improve data accuracy, reporting, and decision-making. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs. Inventory and Stores Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels through effective demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management practices. Oversee stores management to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce excess stock. Retail Network Management: Collaborate with retail partners to ensure seamless integration of logistics and supply chain operations into the retailing network. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to strengthen network capabilities. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA or relevant master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management with a strong focus on warehousing, logistics, and distribution; experience in retailing is a plus. Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems to streamline supply chain processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
