Dam Safety Specialist - This is full-time position for Dam Rehabilitation & Improvement Project at Delhi- India. Responsibilities - Nodal expert to review all matters related to dam safety aspects in all project activities Conduct CS&QA visits Preparation of official transmittals and onward submission Conduct dam safety inspects and provide expert opinions to address the safety concerns of dams Review overall rehabilitation plans of DRIP dams Assess construction quality, quality control system, quality assurance etc. Design customized training modules/lectures to train IAs Contribute professionally any chapter/relevant area regarding any updating or preparation of any dam safety guidelines/manuals To be part of team for DHARMA updating as a domain expert Give requisite input in development of MIS, official website for Project activities Training of TOT officials Assistance in development of annual training program calendar and act as a faculty Any urgent matter related to dam safety as and when given by Project Director to be expedited and compliance to be ensured Participation in official annual dam safety conferences, workshops, trainings etc. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Preferred Skills- Dam Safety Manuals , preparation of any dam safety guidelines, quality control system, quality assurance etc. Pay range and compensation package - (USD 8-10 K per month)
