Job Purpose:The key objective of Design Professional is to conceptualize, manage and deliver various design projects in accordance with organization goals.Primary Responsibilities:I. Design: • Manage various design projects related to commercial office buildings: asset repositioning and upgradation, amenities development (gym, creche, food courts, lobbies, etc.), arrival & landscape experience, office fit outs, etc. • Manage operational improvement projects related to commercial office buildings. • Provide thought leadership in future of office and associated developments; study and implement innovation and new trends in commercial sector from design and consumer experience lens • Design and review the building plans and site designs for aesthetics, environmental acceptability, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. • Building relationship with design firms, clients and industry professionals. • Manage design process and coordinate information flow between different design consultants for efficient progress. • Bridge information gaps between design documentation and site construction activity. • Check finishes & materials are in line with design documentations. • Assist leasing team regarding technical information on the project and provide clarifications on queries from potential tenants. • Support liaison team regarding any compliance related information on the project. • Manage and support internal stakeholders – leasing, regulatory and licencing, legal, marketing, procurement, execution, operations and finance. • Manage external stakeholders – Consultants, Clients, Contractors, Vendors, PMC.II. Project ManagementOverall Project Management • Oversee the entire project lifecycle until the handover, ensuring all phases are completed on time, within the allocated budget, without compromising quality. • Conduct thorough project analysis to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders. Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. • Prepare detailed project reports and updates for senior management and other stakeholders.Time • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. • Perform delay analysis to identify causes and develop mitigation strategies.Cost • Analyze project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast future financial needs.Quality • Ensure all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations. • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to design and quality.Deliver the role in alignment with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, including Health and Safety (EHS).Role Requirements:Educational Qualification: • Bachelor of Architecture from a reputed institute • MBA preferred • Project Management Professional from reputed project management institute preferred • Accredited Green Building / WELL professional preferredWork Experience: • 15 + years of relevant work experience in project design (architecture, interior) and project management • Experience working in design consultancy firm required • Additional experience working in real estate development firm, or • Additional experience working in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firmSkills Required: • Interpersonal skills • Strong design skills • Good technical knowledge about commercial office buildings • Conversant with local and national building by-laws • Strong project Management mindset • Ability to influence without authority • Team management
